This new section of our website is dedicated to highlighting and honoring those within our ranks who have found extraordinary ways to Build Bridges of Faith & Service to our Veterans and their families, and the general public throughout the year. Whether those going “Above and Beyond the Call” are Veterans themselves, family members, or local businesses, we want to celebrate their impact.

What Does Going "Above and Beyond" Mean?

The phrase "Above and beyond the call of duty" describes actions that exceed what is expected, required, or standard. It represents exceptional service, selfless dedication, and the kind of personal kindness that changes lives. Often shortened to simply "Above and Beyond," it defines those who see a need and do the extra work to meet it.
